Chinese ZTE Corporation is ready to announce new budget smartphone running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system. ZTE N72-E in monoblock device with horizontal screen and full QWERTY keyboard. It is known that this phone supports CDMA2000 1X/EVDO networks and is equipped with 2.5 inch TFT touch screen with 320×240px resolution and 262K colors, 3.2 Mp camera, Bluetooth, 256 MB built-in storage, microSD external memory card slot (up to 8 GB), 1300 mAh battery. It is expected that ZTE N72-E smartphone will be released in next few weeks and will cost about $130.

French Alcatel company has just unveiled its new mobile device. Alcatel One Touch Net is budget class QWERTY mobile device. It is main feature is support of Yahoo services including Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Homepage, Yahoo! Social Pulse, Yahoo! Address Book, Yahoo! Calendar and Flickr. The specifications list includes 2.4 inch display with 320×240px resolution, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, 80 Mb internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot. At first Alcatel One Touch Net will become available in India and some weeks later it will be launched in other countries. The price of this phone is $100.

Recently French Alcatel company released its new mobile phone. Alcatel ICE3 is stylish mobile device designed for ladies. Its main feature is its design – this clamshell phone has square shape and full QWERTY keyboard. The list of pre-installed software includes massagers and apps that provide quick access to email and popular social networks accounts.

As for technical specifications Alcatel ICE3 supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks and is equipped with 2.4 inch TFT screen with 320×240px resolution and 262K colors, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, FM radio with RDS, 80 Mb internal memory, microSD memory card slot. The battery of this device has 850 mAh battery and provides 9 hour of talk time or 450 hour of idle one. At first Alcatel ICE3 will be available in India and will cost $150. This phone will be promoted by Bollywood actress - Kangna Ranaut.

Korean Moblic company was founded a year ago but it has already released its first device. Moblic E7 is horizontal QWERTY slider that combines features of MID and portable game console. This device is based on ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 600 MHz clock and 3D graphics acceleration support. Other characteristics are 4 inch touchscreen with 480×800 px resolution, 256 Mb RAM, 8 Gb ROM, 2000 mAh battery and microSD memory card slot. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and WiMAX IEEE 802.16e. There is no official information about operating system but it is expected that Moblic E7 will run on Windows Phone 7 Series. Unfortunately no word about price and release date.

Sagem Wireless together with Puma has just announced its new mobile phone. Puma Phone is designed for people who lead an active lifestyle. One of the main features of this device is solar panel on the back side of the device. After hour under the sun Puma Phone will provide about two hours of music playback or will give an opportunity to send 30 text messages. Besides future owners will surely appreciate accelerometer, GPS, digital compass, pedometer and special software that will help to organize activity. Other characteristics of Puma Phone are 2.8 inch touch screen with 240×320 px resolution and 262K colors, 3.2 Mp camera with flash and 6x digital zoom, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, and 3.5 mm headphones jack. The dimensions are 102×56x13 mm, the weight is 115g. Puma Phone will be released in April. No word about pricing.

Czech Mivvy company is known for its Dual Nio, Dual Slider and Dual TV Touch. But today this producer officially announced Mivvy One communicator. It features Marvell PXA310 624 MHz CPU, 3.2 inch TFT touch screen with 240×400 px resolution, 3 Mp camera with autofocus and flash, 128 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, microSD memory card slot (up to 32 Gb), FM radio, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, accelerometer, GPS module and 1100 mAh battery. The dimensions are 105х56х12.9 mm. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. Mivvy One runs one Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The price of this phone is $375.

During today’s conference devoted to new online shop China Mobile operator demonstrated new communicator – Dell Mini 3i. This device has classic shape factor and nice design. The list of technical features is also good but not s impressive as it was expected. Dell Mini 3i has 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen with 360×640 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and microSD memory card slot. It is notable that this communicator doesn’t support third generation networks standards and has no Wi-Fi module. The operating system is OMS. There is no any information about European and US release.

Due to collaboration of Cypress Semiconductor Corp and Sharp Japanese au KDDI mobile operator is able to introduce for its users new unique mobile device. It is Sportio Water Beat. This phone is designed for people who prefer active way of leaving. The main feature of this phone is watertightness. In contrast to others waterproof devices this one has 3 inch touch screen designed by Cypress company. Besides this display supports Multi-touch technology. Other characteristics of KDDI Sportio Water Beat are 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, 900 Mb built in memory, microSD card slot, GPS module, accelerometer, TV tuner and IR port. Regarding the fact of Sharp’s intention to invade European and US mobile technology market we can hope to find it in shops.

Indian Spice Mobile company has just announced its new device – Spice D-1111. It is the first Indian communicator with both GSM and CDMA networks’ standards support. According to the producer this device is innovation and will become very popular. Unfortunately these asseverations are not very well-founded. The price of this mobile device is $385 and its list of technical characteristics looks not very impressive. It is clear that device with such price and set of features can’t compete with communicators by such companies as HTC, Samsung, RIM and etc. Spice D-1111 is equipped with 2.8 inch touch screen, 2 Mp camera, 60 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and 1350 mAh battery. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional.

First this communicator was shown on Mobile World Congress 2009. Recently it became available in European shops. Acer F900 belongs to Acer Tempo series and has not bad set of characteristics including 7.2 Mbps HSDPA/HSUPA support, 3.8 inch touch screen with 800×480 pix resolution, Samsung S3C6410 533 MHz CPU, 28 Mb SDRAM, 256 Mb Flash ROM, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, additional video call camera, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi modules. Acer F900 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional has Acer 2.0 User Interface with widgets support.
