At last Sony Ericsson officially announced its long-awaited Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 (it is also known as Xperia X3 and Rachael). This high-end device will run on Android 1.6 Donut operating system with UX (user experience) platform that provides quick access both to entertaining and communication functions. Two key features of UX are Timescape and Mediascape; both of them are running as a standalone application but fully integrated in terms of features into each of the native applications. Timescape handles events, with a single view of tumbling panes each detailing the most recent changes, updates or events like SMS, email messages, calls, voicemails, photos, Twitter or Facebook updates. Mediascape provides quick access to media content like photos, audio, video and such popular services as YouTube and PlayNow.
As for technical characteristics Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 has 4 inch capacitive touch screen with WVGA (480×854 px) resolution, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 1 Gb built-in memory, microSD card slot and 3.5 mm audio jack.
