Recently Chinese clone makers amazed us with iPhone 4G clone that has not been even announced yet. This device is clone of Nokia N8 that will be launched only in July-August. As you can see the design of this phone is very similar to original ones. But the list of technical specifications differs. This clone of Nokia N8 is equipped with 3.2 inch touch screen with 240×400px resolution, 1.3 Mp camera with flash, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, MicroSD external memory card slot. The battery has 1100 mAh capacity and provides about 4 hours of talk time and 8-12 days of idle one. The price of this mobile phone is $105.

Some days ago Nokia officially announced its new affordable mobile phone designed for music lovers. The design looks very stylish. Besides, the back side of this device is made of aluminium. In spite of the fact that Nokia X2 belongs to budget class it features not bad set of technical specifications. It supports quad-band GSM networks and is equipped with 2.2 inch TFT screen with 240×320px resolution, 5 Mp camera with flash and 4x digital zoom, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, FM radio, 3.5mm headphones jack, 48 Mb built-in memory, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 16 Gb). Another notable feature is battery life – it provides about 14 hours of talk time. Nokia X2 will become available in next few weeks and will cost EUR85.

Chinese mobile phones fakes producer have already released some Nokia N900 clones. But the design of this one is the closest to original. There is also sliding QWERTY keyboard and the same set of ports. But in other respects this device is typical Chinese phone. CoolN900 supports GSM 900/1800 MHz networks and has two SIM card slots. It is equipped with 3.2 inch touch screen with 240×400 px resolution, two 0.3 Mp cameras (both usual and frontal), Bluetooth with A2DP and microSD memory card slot. The battery has 1500 mAh capacity and provides 5 hours of talk time. The price is $120.

Nokia announced two new sliding phones - Nokia 6700 Slide and Nokia 7230. Both of them has middle class set of technical characteristics and are positioned as devices for social networks users.

Nokia 6700 Slide has steel case and runs on Symbian S60 operating system. There is also 2.2 inch screen, 5 Mp camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and microSD memory card slot. Available colors will be pink, silver, blue, green, red and violet.

In contrast to the 6700 Slide Nokia 7230 runs on Series 40 platform, has 2.4 inch screen and 3.2 Mp camera. Other technical specifications are identical. Both these mobile phones will become available in the beginning of 2010. Nokia 6700 Slide will cost EUR160 and Nokia 7230 will cost EUR100.

It was expected that this device would be introduced at Nokia World 2009 conference, But Nokia have already officially announced it. Nokia N900 is QWERTY sliding phone. It runs on Maemo 5 operating system. Impressive set of technical features and new OS can make this mobile device very popular. Among other features we have to note multitasking, full value web browser, email client and 800×480 px video recording support. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, WCDMA/HSDPA 900/1700/2100 MHz. The dimensions are 110.9×59.8×18 mm. Nokia N900 will become available in October and will cost €500.

Together with its first netbook Nokia announced Nokia 5230. It is simplified version of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It has not so impressive set of technical features and but costs only €149. Nokia 5230 is equipped with 3.2 inch touch screen with 640×360 px resolution, 2 Mp camera with autofocus and flash, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, FM radio, 70 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and 1350 mAh battery. Supported network standards are GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, WCDMA/HSDPA. The operating system is Symbian S60 5th Edition. Nokia 5230 will become available in the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will become available by the end of the third quarter of this year and will cost €200.

The first information about Nokia 5900 XpressMusic has just appeared in the global network. Nokia company hasn’t officially confirmed this information. So, it is possible that this mobile phone is a Chinese clone. But I hope it is real and will soon become available.
