Nokia has just officially introduced 6208c mobile phone. It is not smartphone but has touch screen. It is said that this device is first assigned for China but will appear in other countries. This phone supports a lot of different languages and symbols. Nokia 6208c features original stylus which looks like traditional Chinese bamboo pen and is strengthened on back side of this phone. Such approach seems to be rather unusual. It was also said that the screen of 6208c would have 2.8 inch diagonal but according to the latest information the screen has 2.4 inch diagonal and 240×320 px resolution. There is also 3.2 Mp camera with 4x digital zoom and double LED flashgun, FM radio, microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb) and Bluetooth 2.0 module. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS/EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz)

Chinese users prefer devices with touch screen. Nokia 6208 was designed for Asiatic mobile technology market. In contrast to N97 and 5800 it is not smartphone but simple mobile phone which runs on Series 40 platform. Nevertheless it has 2.8 inch touch screen which supports hand-written input. As for the rest Nokia 6208 has all features that are usual: 3.2 Mp camera, 27 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth module and etc.

Chinese developers are always ready to offer cheaper alternative of Nokia devices. This is the clone of Nokia N810 mobile internet device. MID-2008 looks very similar to its inspirer. It has 4.3 inch touch screen with 800×480 px resolution, 628 MHz CPU, 2 Mp camera, 128 MB built in memory, microSD card slot (up to 16GB), FM radio, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. In addition it supports GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz network standards and runs on Linux operating system.

Today Nokia company officially introduced its new 6260 Slide mobile phone. The main destination of this sliding mobile phone is big files transmission and exchange including photos, video and music files. To enlarge communication capability this mobile phone supports HSDPA and HSUPA technology, has Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1 modules. In addition to other values Nokia 6260 mobile phone has 360° navigation button which makes web surfing process easier. Also we have to notice 5 Mp camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics. The list of other features includes 2.4 inch screen with 320×480px resolution, 200 Mb built-in memory, microSD/HC memory card slot (up to 8 GB), FM radio, 2.5 mm audio jack and TV out. Supported networks are WCDMA, GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. Nokia 6260 Slide phone will be available in the beginning of 2009 and will cost 299 euro.

According to Internet Tablet Talk Nokia company started production of Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition. This Nokia Internet Tablet was announced last April. After agonizing suspense the status of this device changed to “In Stock”. Its price is $493. Nokia N810 WiMAX edition has 4.13-inch touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, built-in webcam for video calls, Mozilla powered browser, GPS module, media player, 2GB built in memory and microSD card slot.

At last Finnish Nokia company introduced Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone which is also known as Nokia Tube. This mobile phone has 3.2 inch touch screen and 8 Gb built in memory. In contrast to G1 Google phone Nokia tube has 3.5 mm audio jack. Besides there is 3.2 Mp camera with Carl Zeiss optical instruments and supports video recording function.
It was also marked that this new device has special user interface. Media Bar menu gives an access to favorite songs, video clips, photos and web sites including Flash (this feature is not supported by Apple iPhone 3G).
Another menu – Contacts Bar – gives an opportunity to show four the most used contacts and to track SMS, email message history. Due to this feature you can also keep log of calls, photos and blog posts.
This device will become the first mobile phone which supports new Comes With Music service which allows downloading music files without limitations. Comes With Music also supports Nokia N95 and Nokia 5310 XpressMusic which special release will take place this month. The approximate price is $400. Other phones with Comes With Music support will appear in the beginning of 2009.

Nokia has just announced another new smartphone. Nokia N85 is smartphone and continues series of Nokia`s sliding devices. One of the most prominent features of this mobile phone is 2.6 inch AMOLED screen. Besides all functions of preset-day Nseries phones are provided: GPS, Wi-Fi and N-Gage support. The camera has 5 Mp resolution, auto focusing function and flash gun. The sale will start in the last quarter of 2008.
