Today together with Milestone 2 Motorola announced one more smartphone – Motorola Defy. The main feature of this high-end device is that is has rugged case that is dust and water resistant. The screen is covered with Gorilla glass. In other respects it is typical present-day smartphone. It runs on Google Android 2.1 and is equipped with 3.7 inch touch screen with 480×854px resolution, 5 Mp camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1.25 GB internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack. The battery has 1540 mAh capacity and provided about 9 hours of talk time or 17 days of idle. The smartphone measures 107х59х13.4mm and weights 118g. It is expected that Motorola Defy will become available in November.

Some weeks ago this smartphone was certificated by Bluetooth SIG. But till now we had not have its photos. Some hours ago Hiapk source published high quality pics of this coming device. Motorola XT502 is powered by Google Android 2.1 operating system and supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz. It is also known that this smartphone is equipped with 3.2 inch touchscreen, 5 Mp camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS with A-GPS support, trackball, 3.5mm headphones jack, 1230 mAh battery. It is expected that Motorola XT502 will be officially announced in next few weeks.

But in contrast to them Motorola Flipout belongs to smartphones class and runs on Google Android 2.1 operating system with MOTOBLUR user interface. AT&T announced some new device that will be released in a next few months. This list of devices also includes Motorola Sawgrass and Motorola Heron. Both of these mobile phones are QWERTY sliders and support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, WCDMA/HSDPA 850/1900 MHz networks.

Motorola Heron is also know as Iron Man and belongs to the class of smartphones. The operating system is Android. The screen has 2.8 inch diagonal and 240×320 px resolution. Other technical characteristics are QC MSM7225 CPU, 3 Mp camera with flash, 128 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and A-GPS module.

Motorola Sawgrass is assigned for social networks lovers and has 2.5 inch touch screen with 240×320 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, 100 Mb built in memory, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and A-GPS module.

Motorola company is not going to leave mobile market and continues to create new devices. I have to admit that it copes with this task far better than some month ago. This Motorola Prism mobile device has been already officially announced. This is clamshell phone with gauzy flip like MING phone has. Unfortunately this phone has no third generation networks support but the list of other technical features of this phone is impressive. For example the resolution of 2.8 inch touch screen is 800×480 px. There is also 3 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and S-DMB receiver. There is no information about pricing and release date.

Motorola has just annouced its second 5 Mp cameraphone. It is MOTO VE66. This sliding phone has nice design and seems to become popular.
