Most of Chinese clones have the same design as original devices, but their specifications usually are not so impressive. This device seems to be exclusion. In contrast to Motorola Droid it runs not on Google Android but on Windows Mobile 6.5. But in other respects its list of technical characteristics is very similar to the Droid’s one. HXSD smartphone is based on Huawei Hisilicon K3 chipset and is equipped with 533 MHz processor, 256 MB ROM, 256 MB RAM, 3.7 inch touchscreen with 480×800px resolution, MicroSD external memory card slot, 2 Mp camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack. This device will become available in next few weeks and will cost about $220.

One of Chinese mobile device producers has just launched its clone of Google Nexus One. The device has the same design as original smartphone but unfortunately it has different list of specifications. It is based on MTK platform and is equipped with 3.5 inch touch screen with 320×480px resolution, 2 Mp camera, 2 Mp camera, frontal 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Fm radio, microSD external memory card slot. Besides, as many other Chinese phone this device supports Dual-SIM function.

In contrast to many other Chinese mobile phones this one is unique and doesn’t resemble any other device. Penthouse phone measures only 47×55x14mm and weights 56g. This phone supports Dual-SIM mode (GSM+GSM) and is equipped with 1.5 inch touch screen, 0.3 Mp camera with video recording support, Bluetooth, FM radio, MicroSD external memory card slot. The battery has 1300 mAh capacity and provides about 4 hours of talk time and 100 hour of idle mode.

Recently Chinese clone makers amazed us with iPhone 4G clone that has not been even announced yet. This device is clone of Nokia N8 that will be launched only in July-August. As you can see the design of this phone is very similar to original ones. But the list of technical specifications differs. This clone of Nokia N8 is equipped with 3.2 inch touch screen with 240×400px resolution, 1.3 Mp camera with flash, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, MicroSD external memory card slot. The battery has 1100 mAh capacity and provides about 4 hours of talk time and 8-12 days of idle one. The price of this mobile phone is $105.

Chinese phones’ clones producer are well known for their efficiency. Just a week ago Gizmodo published first photos of iPhone of new generation. But one of Chinese producers has already released its clone. As many other clones this one has similar design but not set of specifications. This mobile phone is based on MTK platform and supports tri-band GSM/EDGE networks. It has two SIM card slots, resistive touch screen, 2 Mp camera, FM radio, microSD memory card slot. There is no information about release date and price.

Chinese mobile device producers don’t stop to amaze us. Lady Apple is positioned as devices for ladies. The main feature of this mobile phone is its shape factor – it is oval! In other respects it is usual Chinese mobile phone - Lady Apple supports GSM 900/1800 networks and is equipped with 2.6 inch touch screen with 240×320px resolution and 262K colors, 1.3 Mp camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot, 1000 mAh battery. Besides as many other Chinese phones it supports Dual-SIM function. This device measures 95×64x13mm and weights 98g. Unfortunately we have no any information about price.

This device is a cheap clone of Motorola MT710. Motoroia710 has the same appearance but it doesn’t run on Google Android operating system and doesn’t belong to smartphones class. Unfortunately it is typical Chinese mobile phone based on MTK platform. It has two SIM card slots, 3.0 inch touchscreen with 240×400px resolution, 1.3Mp camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, microSD card slot. The dimensions are 102×56x13.5mm, the weight is 105g. Motoroia710 has been already available and cost $70.

It is funny that Chinese K-Touch company also suffers from producers of phones clones. This device is a clone of K-Touch X90. K-Tcouh X90+ has the same shape as original device has. The list of specifications is usual for Chinese mobile phones and includes Dual SIM support, 2.2 inch touch screen with 240×320 px resolution, 0.3 Mp camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, TV tuner, 1 Mb built-in memory, microSD memory card slot. The battery provides about 4 hours of talk time. The price of K-Tcouh X90+ is $138.

Chinese HiPhone has already released two phones that bear a resemblance of Apple iPod Nano. HiPhone W008 is a heir of these two devices. This sliding phone has 2.2 inch TFT screen with 240×320 px resolution and 262K colors, two 0.3 Mp cameras both usual and frontal, Bluetooth, FM radio, accelerometer, 1 Mb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot (up to 16 Gb). As many other Chinese phones HiPhone W008 supports Dual SIM card mode. The battery provides about 4 hours of talk time. The price is $128.

Chinese producers of mobile phone’s clones react to new devices on-the-fly. For example Motorola Backflip wan announced a month ago but it copy has been already released. Unfortunately MOTOROIAM600 is not smartphone running on Google Android operating system. It is based on MTK platform and has typical for Chinese devices set of characteristics. It supports Dual SIM mode and has 3.2 inch touch screen with 320×480 px resolution, 1.3 Mp camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, and microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb). The price is also typical for Chinese phones - $127.
