Samsung has just officially announced its new “flagman” cameraphone – Samsung SCH-W880 which is also known as Samsung AMOLED 12M. This device combines features of both mobile phone and usual compact camera. It is the world’s first phone that has 12 Mp camera with 3x optical zoom, 6x digital zoom, image stabilization, touch auto focus, face detection, xenon flash and 720p video recording at 30fps. Other features of this mobile device are 3.3 inch AMOLED touch screen with WVGA resolution, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, DMB TV tuner, 4 Gb built-in memory and microSD card slot. Samsung AMOLED 12M will become available in South Korea next month. In other countries it will be sold as Samsung M8920.

Today Samsung announced some new mobile phones. One of them is Samsung B3210 CorbyTXT. It classic shape factor mobile device features QWERTY keyboard and special application for close integration with social networks. Technical characteristics are 2.2 inch screen with 176х144 px resolution and 262K colors, 2 Mp camera, FM radio with RDS, 40 Mb built-in memory, microSD card slot (up to 8 Gb), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack and 800 mAh battery. The dimensions are 111×59.55×12.9 mm, the weight is 94 g. Supported network standards are GSM/EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.

According to some unofficial sources Verizon Wireless will soon announce HTC Imagio (HTC XV6975) which is also known as HTC WhiteStone. This communicator supports both GSM and CDMA networks and has Qualcomm 7600 528 MHz CPU, 3.6 inch touch screen with 480×800 px resolution, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, 256 Mb RAM, 512 Mb ROM, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, Wi-Fi and GPS module. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.5. HTC Imagio will be launched by Verizon on October 6.

The first information about this device appeared some months ago. But only now we have some photos of this coming communicator. It is Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite. It is light version of Samsung Galaxy i7500 and has not so impressive set of technical characteristics. In contrast to i7500 this device doesn’t support third generation networks and has 3.2 Mp camera and 1Gb built-in memory. In other respects both devices are identical. Both of mobile devices run on Android operating system and are equipped with 3.2 inch AMOLED touch screen with 320×480 px resolution, Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz CPU, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, microSD/microSDHC card slot, accelerometer, 3.5 mm audio jack, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and GPS modules. Unfortunately there is no any information about price and release date.

Today HTC officially introduced its new Android communicator – HTC Tattoo. The list of characteristics looks good – this device is equipped with Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz CPU, 512 MB ROM, 256 Mb RAM, 2.8 inch touch screen with 240х320 px (QVGA) resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, microSD memory card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, accelerometer and 3.5 mm jack. HTC Tattoo also features new user interface – HTC Sense – that provides impressive set of customization options. New HTC’s communicator will be available in the beginning of the October.

At last LG Electronics officially announced its new device. LG Chocolate II is also known as LG BL-40. This mobile phone is forth device from Black Label series and features 4 inch touch screen with 345×800 px resolution, 5 Mp camera with LED flash and TV out. Other characteristics are 1.1 Gb built in memory, microSD memory card slot (up to 32 Gb), Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack, A-GPS, FM radio and 1000 mAh battery. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 МГц (7.2 Mbps). The dimensions of LG BL-40 are 128×51x10.9 mm. The weight is 129 g. This mobile phone will become available in Europe by the end of this month.

At last Sony Ericsson officially announced its long-awaited Xperia X2 communicator. This device will run on Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. This fact means that the list of pre-installed applications includes Microsoft Office Mobile, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Internet Explorer Mobile. New device also features new SlideView function that gives opportunity to get quick access to the most used operations. Like its predecessor Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 will have such panels as Skype, Google, Mytopia, CNN and Windows Live. As for technical characteristics this coming communicator will have 3.2 inch TFT touch screen with 480×800 px resolution, 8.1 Mp camera with 16x zoom and LED flash, sliding QWERTY keyboard, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, TV out, 110 Mb built in memory and microSD card slot (up to 16 Gb). The dimensions are 110×54x16 mm audio jack. Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 will become available in the beginning of the third quarter of this year. There is no any information about price.

South Korean Samsung company has just announced its new mobile phone – Samsung Corby which is also known as S3650. It is nice looking inexpensive mobile device for young people. As for technical features this mobile phone has 2.8 inch touch screen with 240×320 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, FM radio, microSD memory card slot, FM radio with RDS and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP. The dimensions are 103х57х13. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. Available colors are Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink, Minimal White and Festival Orange. The Samsung Corby full-touch handset will be made available in Europe starting from mid-September. The handset is speculated to be price tagged at around €150.
