Nokia N900 official announce
It was expected that this device would be introduced at Nokia World 2009 conference, But Nokia have already officially announced it. Nokia N900 is QWERTY sliding phone. It runs on Maemo 5 operating system. Impressive set of technical features and new OS can make this mobile device very popular. Among other features we have to note multitasking, full value web browser, email client and 800×480 px video recording support. As for technical characteristics Nokia N900 has ARM Cortex-A8с 600 Mhz CPU, 3.5 inch touch screen with 800×480 px resolution, 5 Mp camera with Carl Zeiss optics and double LED flash, 256 Mb RAM, 768 Mb ROM, 32 Gb flash memory, microSD card slot (up to 16 Gb), Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS, accelerometer, FM radio with transmitter, 3.5 mm audio jack and 1320 mAh battery. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, WCDMA/HSDPA 900/1700/2100 MHz. The dimensions are 110.9×59.8×18 mm. Nokia N900 will become available in October and will cost €500.
