
Lenovo Mobile company published some information about its two coming devices – Lenovo i60 and Lenovo i60s. It isn’t known are they usual mobile phones or smartphones but some sources say that these mobile devices will run on Windows Mobile or Android. Lenovo i60 has 3 inch WQVGA screen and Dual SIM card mode support. Lenovo i60s will have 2.8 inch screen and support only one SIM card. Both of these devices have 2 Mp camera, microSD memory card slot (up to 16 Gb).

Chinese mobile phones producers introduce another budget mobile phone which price is only $100. Nevertheless according to the producer Sanno A6 has not bad list of technical features – 2.6 inch touch screen with 240×320 px resolution, FM radio, TV tuner, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile support and microSD memory card slot. It is also said that this phone has two 3.2 Mp cameras but the maximum resolution of photos is only 640×480 pixels. So it seems that again Chinese developers couldn’t resist the temptation to embroider)). Another embarrassing fact is 3800 mAh battery which provides only 2.5-3.5 hours of talk mode. As many other Chinese mobile phones Sanno A6 support Dual SIM mode and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz network standards.

The giants of mobile industry didn’t introduce its Android devices on Mobile World Congress 2009. But small companies showed its ones. One of them is SIM technology which announced U1 Android communicator. It is remake of U1 Windows Mobile based device. U1 Android has not very impressive design but due to affordable price is expected to become popular. Besides U1 mobile device has nice set of technical features – Qualcomm 6280 CPU, 3 Mp camera, VGA additional camera for video calls, 2.8 inch touch screen, 256 Mb ROM, 128 Mb RAM, microSD(SDHC) memory card slot, Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS modules. The battery has 1500 mAh capacity. Its dimensions are 110×60x16.9 mm. Unfortunately there is no any information about release date.

As it was expected General Mobile introduced DSTL1 smartphone on World Mobile Congress 2009. It is the first world Android device with Dual SIM card mode support. General Mobile DSTL1 mobile device has 3 inch touch screen with WQVGA resolution, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, 4 Gb memory, microSD/microSDHC memory card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo profile support and FM radio. The date of release and price of this coming device is still unknown.

HTC Company officially announced long-awaited second Android based smartphone which is know as G2 phone. The official name of this nice looking mobile device is HTC Magic. It will become available in spring. In contrast to the first Android smartphone G2 has no QWERTY keyboard and has classic shape. Nokia officially introduced its Nokia N86 smartphone on Mobile World Congress 2009. It is first Nokia’s sliding phone with 8 Mp camera which features Carl Zeiss Tessar wide-angle lens and double LED flash. To store photos Nokia N86 has 8 Gb built in memory and microSD card slot (up to 16 Gb). The platform of this mobile device is S60 3rd Edition, FP2. The list of other characteristics include 2.6 inch OLED screen with QVGA resolution, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, GPS, TV out, 3.5 mm audio jack and 1200 mAh battery. Sony Ericsson has just announced its coming mobile phone which code name is Idou. It is high-end cameraphone with advanced characteristics. It has classic shape factor and correspond to “e2e” design standards. The front surface is covered with 3.5 inch TFT touch screen with 360×640 px resolution screen. Sony Ericsson Idou also features 12.1 Mp camera with xenon flash gun, Wi-Fi and GPS modules. It is notable that it runs on Symbian operating system. The list of features also includes microSD/microSDHC card slot, FM Radio with RDS and additional camera for video calls. It is expected that it this remarkable mobile device will become available in the second half of this year.

It is rumored that Acer will introduce X960 on MWC 2009. It has 2.8 inch touch screen with 640×480 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with flash gun, 533 MHz CPU, 128 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, Wi-Fi, GPS module, microSD memory card slot and additional camera for video calls. As you can see Acer X960 belongs to communicators class. Nevertheless these devices look not very stylish to compete with HTC or ASUS mobile devices. So I hope that Acer has some salt which hasn’t been known yet.

LG company officially announced its new KM900 touch screen phone. It will be introduced during Mobile World Congress 2009 and is expected to be interesting for visitors. According to producer this mobile device belongs to smartphones class but there is no any information about operating system of this remarkable phone. But it is known that it will have special 3D user interface. As for other features LG KM900 has 3 inch touch screen with 800×480 px resolution, TV tuner, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, A-GPS and Wi-Fi modules. In addition this mobile phone supports third generation network standards including HSDPA (up to 7.2 Mbit/s). The KM900 device will become available by the end of the April.
