Palm Pre: the first webOS based device
As it was expected Palm company introduced new webOS operating system which is also known as Nova. Another nice surprise is official announce of Palm Pre communicator which runs on this new OS. webOS supports multitouch technology and is assigned for active Internet users: there is support of CMS, HTML, XML and JavaScript. New OS also includes Palm Synergy.
Palm Pre communicator is sliding device with QWERTY keyboard and looks very stylish. Besides it has very impressive list of technical features – 3.1 inch touch screen with 320×480 px resolution, 3 Mp camera with flashgun, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS module and accelerometer. The release will take place in the first part of this year. The price of this coming device will be approximately $500.
