According to AndroidAuthority source General Mobile company which is known for its Dual SIM phones is going to introduce its first Android OS based smartphone on Mobile World Congress 2009. It will also support dual SIM card mode. It is expected that General Mobile DSTL1 mobile device will have 3 inch touch screen with WQVGA resolution (400×240 pixels), 5 Mp camera with LED flash gun, Marvell PXA 310 624 MHz CPU, 4 GB built in memory, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth modules.
Supported network standards are GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz. Another interesting feature is special buttons configuration which is not usual to Android - General Mobile DSTL1 smartphone will have additional buttons on its front side to improve operating system usability. I’ll hope this device will be available soon and will not cost too much.

It is rumored that Samsung company is going to introduce its new “flagman” mobile phone on Mobile World Congress 2009. It is Samsung Loches or Samsung S8300. Like Samsung Pixon it will have 8 Mp camera with double flash gun and autofocus function. We can also list 2.8 inch OLED touch screen with WQVGA resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, 60 Mb built in memory chip, microSD memory card slot and GPS module. In addition it supports third generation network standards.

Since last year it was known that Sony Ericsson was going to release phone with Filippa code name. Yesterday some sources published information about this future SE phone. This cameraphone was named Sony Ericsson C901. It has classic shape factor and features 5 Mp camera with such functions as face detection, autofocus, Smile Shutter, BestPic and Photo Fix. In addition there is xenon flash gun. As for other features C901 mobile phone has 2.2 inch screen with 240×320 px resolution, 140 Mb built in memory, M2 memory card slot, TV out and accelerometer. It is also said that official announce of Sony Ericsson C901 Flippa will take place at 15th of the February on Mobile World Congress 2009 exhibition.

Japanese NTT DoCoMo mobile operator announced new mobile phone which belongs to PRIME series and supports third generation networks. The main feature of F-03A device is its screen. Today Sharp 931SH sliding phone has the largest screen resolution - 1024х480 pixels. But PRIME F-03A is inferior in this respect. The resolution of its touch screen is 960×480 px and diagonal is 3.2 inches.
The list of other features is also very impressive – 5.2 Mp camera with autofocus and face detection, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, Bluetooth and GPS modules, TV tuner and microSD card slot. There is also full scale web browser, wireless payment services and global roaming support. So I hope that Japanese mobile phones will appear on European and US mobile market some day.

This device is positioned as mobile phone for SMS lovers. It is designed by Pantech company and will be sold by Verizon mobile operator. PCD TXT8020 is a slider with a swiveling display and full QWERTY keyboard under it. The diagonal of the screen is 2.2 inches and resolution is 176×220 pixels. Other technical features are also not very impressive so this fact means that PCD TXT8020 will be cheap. Japanese NTT DoCoMo mobile operator released Fujitsu F-01A mobile device. It is one of the most advanced present day mobile phones and belongs to PRIME series. Not only Fujitsu company participated in developing of this remarkable phone. They use TouchStone technology by AuthenTec which was used in developing of finger scanners. According to the producer Fujitsu F-01A is the first mobile phone which has waterproof case, finger scanner and supports multitasking.
Fujitsu F-01A clamshell phone has turning screen and runs on Symbian operating system. By the way the screen has 3.5 inch diagonal and supports 480×854 px resolution. The list of other technical features involves 5.2 Mp camera, 1Seg TV tuner, microSD card slot, GPS and Bluetooth modules. There is also Mobile Google Maps with Street View, e-Wallet mobile payment services. Unfortunately there is no any information about its price.
