The screen is covered with Gorilla glass. In other respects it is typical present-day smartphone. It runs on Google Android 2.1 and is equipped with 3.7 inch touch screen with 480×854px resolution, 5 Mp camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1.25 GB internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack. The battery has 1540 mAh capacity and provided about 9 hours of talk time or 17 days of idle. The smartphone measures 107х59х13.4mm and weights 118g. It is expected that Motorola Defy will become available in November.

This device is the first Sony Ericsson’s smartphone designed for Chinese market. That means that this high-end device supports TD-SCDMA network standard (Chinese 3G). Sony Ericsson A8i is very close to Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. It has the same design but the list of specifications differs. Today Dell launched its new smartphone that will become available in AT&T shops for $300 or for $100 with two-year contract. Chinese ZTE Corporation is ready to announce new budget smartphone running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system. ZTE N72-E in monoblock device with horizontal screen and full QWERTY keyboard. It is known that this phone supports CDMA2000 1X/EVDO networks and is equipped with 2.5 inch TFT touch screen with 320×240px resolution and 262K colors, 3.2 Mp camera, Bluetooth, 256 MB built-in storage, microSD external memory card slot (up to 8 GB), 1300 mAh battery. Korean Samsung company has just unveiled its new mobile phone - Samsung Flight II. In contrast to its predecessor this mobile device is horizontal QWERTY slider. Today T-Mobile USA operator announced some new devices that will become available in its shops in next few days.

Another mobile device announced by T-Mobile is Samsung Gravity T.

This mobile phone also has sliding QWERTY keyboard but in contrast to the Gravity T is has no alphanumeric keyboard but big touch screen covering almost all front side if this device. The screen has 2.8 inch diagonal and 240×320px resolution, 50 Mb internal memory, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, MicroSD external memory card slot. This mobile phone measures 109×57x15mm and weights 120g. Samsung Gravity T has been already available is shops for $75 with two-year contract.

French Alcatel company has just unveiled its new mobile device. Alcatel One Touch Net is budget class QWERTY mobile device. It is main feature is support of Yahoo services including Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Homepage, Yahoo! Social Pulse, Yahoo! Address Book, Yahoo! Calendar and Flickr. The specifications list includes 2.4 inch display with 320×240px resolution, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, 80 Mb internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot. At first Alcatel One Touch Net will become available in India and some weeks later it will be launched in other countries. The price of this phone is $100.
